Buffalo introduce their new stuff of CD ROM burner. This new burner carry blu-ray system that capable to recording your data into your discs in 8X speed for single layer BD-R by using turbo USB and 2x for dual layer BD-R, BD-RE and LTH BD-R. Buffalo Blu-ray recorder will first appear at Japan next month, and release in two version both in design of External USB 2.0 with eSATA BR-816SU2 and Internal SATA BR-816FBS in 8MB.

Buffalo Blu-ray recorder also able to burn in maximum 16X for DVD±R. Beside that each drive will be completed with Cyberlink’s PowerDVD 7 software as a package. This 2 version of Buffalo Blu-ray recorder carry different price each unit. $435 (¥46,700) for External drive and $380 (¥41,000) for internal of optical spinner. And Buffalo Blu-ray recorder will take their debut in Japan this August.
