Microsoft Launching Pilot Program in Colombia with Windows XO Units

Microsoft has announced that Colombia will become the second country to adopt the educational Windows version following the acquisition of more than 40,000 units from Peru. Initially, the first laptops will be donated by Microsoft to schools in the towns of Chia and Quetame, but for now it is not known how many units and when they will be received. Moreover, thanks to foundations and individuals, 20,000 additional laptops will be distributed in Bogota, and as many as 90,000 will arrive in schools in Cartagena.
